ABOUT CLASSIFIED ADS

Classified ads may be placed in the Michigan Township News (MTN) magazine or on the MTA Web site under Communications/Classifieds, or both.

 

All copy for classified ads, whether for the magazine or the Web site, are preferred in a Word or text document submitted via e-mail to jerri@michigantownships.org. Please be sure to include all important information concerning your ad, especially contact information. (MTA publishing style will be applied to your copy.)

 

You will receive an e-mail confirmation of receipt of your copy within two working days. If not, please call (517) 321-6467.

 

Note: The submitter's legitimate capacity to place ads for the township will be verified before any ad is place.

 

MTN Classifieds

Classified ads placed in the magazine must be submitted 5-8 weeks prior to the month of the issue in which it is to appear.

 

High resolution pictures may be submitted with MTN classified ads for an additional charge. Call 517.321.6464 for more information.

 

A tear sheet showing your ad will accompany your bill when the monthly invoices are sent out through the U.S. mail.

 

Online Classifieds

Online Classified ads will be posted within 24 hours or one full working day from the date of receipt of copy. Web site ads remain online for at least 30 days, or until the posting expires. If this spans more than five weeks, you may be billed for two months.

 

Pictures are also available for online publishing for an additional fee. See pricing charts below.

 

When your ad is posted, you will be notified via e-mail for review. You will also receive an e-invoice for immediate processing.

MTN or Web site classified ad, single copy	First 50 words = $30, plus .20 per word thereafter
Both MTN and Web site classified ad, single copy	Above base pricing, plus $10
High resolution pictures, JPEG	Web site = $10 Call for MTN pricing

 

Non-Member Pricing

MTN or Web site classified ad, single copy	First 50 words = $42, plus .28 per word thereafter
Both MTN and Web site classified ad, single copy	Above base pricing, plus $15
High resolution pictures, JPEG	Web site = $15 Call for MTN pricing
