Pesticide General Permit Review & Application Workshop

Lansing Community College - West Campus

This workshop is being offered by the Michigan DEQ Water Resources Division (WRD) to provide information regarding the 2009 6th Circuit Court ruling, which established pesticide applications as point source discharges of pollutants under the Clean Water Act and mandated that these discharges now be covered under the NPDES permit program. WRD staff will provide a detailed review of the content of the pesticide general permits, explain the permit application process, summarize the record keeping and reporting requirements, and explain how the DEQ expects to handle compliance activities.

Learn about Cobalt Citizen Satisfaction Index through FREE Webinar!

Local governments struggle to balance scarce resources with service level
improvements. With high-quality customer satisfaction metrics, organizations
can use solid data to support resource allocation decisions, improve services,
measure progress, and build public trust. The Cobalt Citizen Satisfaction
Index, powered by the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) can help local governments harness the power of such metrics.

Several webinars have been scheduled for anyone who would like to learn more about the program's component for local government projects (there is no cost for the Webinar). Presentation participants will learn how these tools can offer actionable, affordable, world-class citizen research.
