Evelyn provides township officials, county chapters and other individuals with general information regarding the day-to-day functions of township government. She answers an average of 40 member phone calls, e-mails and faxes per day covering a broad range of topics. From cemetery operations and election procedures to legal opinions and legislation affecting townships, Evelyn has been providing information to elected officials for more than fifteen years. Evelyn teaches various workshops and seminars for elected officials throughout the year.

Before joining the MTA staff in 1988, Evelyn served 11 years as supervisor/assessor of Sebewa Township (Ionia Co.). She maintains a Level II Certification in Assessment Administration from the Michigan State Assessors Board. Evelyn's hobbies include golfing and deer hunting.
