MTA Membership and Dues
Township Membership
Any township in the State of Michigan may be a non-voting township member of this Association by paying dues as prescribed by the Board of Directors.
Township Official Membership Each member of a township board of a township member in good standing of this Association shall be a township official member of this Association. No membership dues shall be required of any township official member. The membership of a township official member shall automatically cease and terminate when the township official member ceases to be a member of a township board of a township member in good standing of this Association.
Dues Membership dues shall be as established by action of the Board of Directors and are payable on the first day of July in each year. Any township member in default in payment of dues on October first of each year shall be suspended from all privileges of membership and the membership of such township shall automatically cease and terminate.
