RESOLUTION FOR THE ACCEPTANCE OF PAYMENTS
BY FINANCIAL TRANSACTION DEVICE
PA 280 of 1995 WHEREAS, the adoption of a resolution authorizing the acceptance of payments by financial transaction devices is within the purview of the township board pursuant to PA 280 of 1995; and
WHEREAS, the treasurer and/or (designated person) of _________ Township has determined acceptable financial transaction devices include:

water and sewer payments
zoning permits
building permits
burial rights certificates
transactions within the township offices in an amount over $___.__

"The enabling legislation makes no provision for recovery of administrative fees from the taxpayers. Consequently, fees charged by the credit card companies will be borne by the township.
