Grosse Ile Township (Wayne Co.) is soliciting applications for the position of Department of Public Services Director. This position involves the management of the daily operations of the Township’s sanitary sewer collection system, water distribution system, building facility maintenance, contractual management of refuse collection and sanitary treatment, liaison with Wayne County for road/drainage maintenance and improvements, and the community development and building divisions.  Daily interaction with the public. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Management, Public Administration, or related field with preference given to candidates with Master level degrees. Five or more years of related supervisory experience required.
