Diane Randall, supervisor of Roscommon Township (Roscommon Co.), has been recognized for her service on the Michigan Townships Association (MTA) Board of Directors with the MTA Immediate Past President Award. Randall was honored for her many contributions to the Association at the MTA Banquet, held April 3 during the MTA 2019 Annual Educational Conference & Expo in Grand Rapids.
“The experiences during my tenure serving as MTA leadership far surpassed my expectations,” Randall said. “I truly enjoyed touring the state, meeting with peers, mentors and newcomers, and working with a Board and staff who embraced all they faced. It has been my honor to serve on the MTA Executive Committee.”
Randall has served her residents in local government for more than two decades. After she was first appointed Roscommon Township supervisor in 1997, she went on to also become a Michigan advanced assessing officer and a Michigan certified personal property examiner. Today, she serves her township as both supervisor and assessor.
Since 2005, Randall has served on the MTA Board of Directors and was elected to the Association’s Executive Committee in 2012.
In addition to her township and MTA duties, Randall has served as chair of the Houghton Lake Sewer Authority, was a member of the Houghton Lake Building Agency and is a member of the Houghton Lake Ambulance Authority.
